Swirl Vase

This underglaze painted late 1930’s swirl vase is marked Moriyama a significant Japanese pottery company of the period. In addition to their own brand of ceramics, they were also the manufacturer of Kent Art Ware. To its right is a similar swirl vase knock-off believed to be made by New Jersey’s Trenton Pottery Companies during World War ll.
